• Complete the Entry survey
• Sign-up for a TWiki account. You'll need this account for a variety of things during the course. To obtain an account, please email cherif@rice.edu with the following information:
  • Your first and last name
  • Your email address
  • Your email subject must be: "Twiki account request for comp211"
• Cherif will create a Twiki account with the name "FirstLast" for you and send you an email message containing the account name and initial password.
• Pick lab time and signup using lab signup page
  • Note: Needs TWiki account
• Subscribe to the class mailing list. You'll need to this to get important announcements about the course.
• Download PLT Scheme 4.1.3 which includes DrScheme.
• Read Wikipedia article on Internet Etiquette.
• Pick home work partner using partner signup page
  • Note: Needs TWiki account
• Make name tag for class. Please bring this to each class.
• Browse over class web-page. Things will change during the course, but the overall structure will be the same.
